While we could talk an awful lot about what our employees do at the bank, we thought it would be fun to have our customers get to know the non-work side of our employees. They're pretty great people. To help you get to know them better, we asked each of them a series of questions... and told them to respond honestly.
This is Shelby Friedman. She's one of our Loan Assistants at our main location in Springdale.
Coffee or Tea?
Cats or Dogs?
Shelby: Dogs, duh! (Shelby's sweet pup, Bella, is featured in her picture.)
Beach or the Lake?
Shelby: That's a tricky one. Beach for sitting, relaxing and listening to the waves, but lake for swimming. Yes, I'm weird, but that whole sand and salt water sticking to you gets old.
Winter or Summer?
Chocolate or Vanilla?
Favorite thing to do in NWA?
Shelby: Sit on a patio and listen to some live music. We have some pretty fabulous local bands in NWA.
What are you currently watching on Netflix?
Shelby: The Office - for the 100th time.
Would you rather be a super HERO or a super VILLIAN…which one and why?
Shelby: Super HERO! I feel like you'd get more satisfaction out of saving the world than trying to take it down.
What’s something you’re really good at (not related to work)?
Shelby: I can be pretty crafty!
What’s your favorite place in the world?
Shelby: Somewhere new. Of course home is where the heart is but there's something amazing about traveling somewhere you've never been.
What would you spend your last $100 on?
Shelby: Probably food.
Where do you hope to be in 10 years?
Shelby: Hopefully, between now and then, I'll win the lottery and I'll be carefree and traveling the world.
If you were stranded on a desert island and could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Shelby: UGH maybe tacos? Or really just mexican food in general.
We talk a lot about helping people with their dreams at UB. SO, what’s your dream?
Shelby: Unrealistic - win the lottery move to a beach compound and travel. Realistically - in short term is to finish school and long term is to play around with event planning as a possible side gig.
